ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Melanie Keyes is a Music Therapist Accredited (MTA) through the Canadian Association for Music Therapists and a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Melanie holds a Master and Doctor of Education and in Counselling and Psychotherapy (MEd, EdD). Melanie has provided clinical supervision to over 40 undergraduate and Masters level music therapy interns and psychotherapy students since 2001.
Melanie has worked with client populations across the lifespan in settings including long term care and retirement homes, hospice, psychiatric and complex continuing care hospitals, community group homes, health care agencies, schools, homeless shelters, and private practice.
As a Registered Psychotherapist, Melanie Keyes currently provides individual counselling to adults, and private music therapy to children and adults with acquired brain injury.
